David Schechter

Founder and President

Our founder David Schechter has over 20 years of medical device expertise and is a named inventor on over 35 U.S. patents relating to radiofrequency energy delivery, RF tissue welding, electrosurgical devices, interventional devices, and surgical tools. He has a B.S. degree in Bioengineering from the University of California San Diego and a M.B.A. from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado. David’s background makes him an expert generalist capable of seeing the white space to deliver the best ideas and solutions for your medical, life sciences, and consumer healthcare products.


Nathan White

Co-Founder and Vice-President of Product Design and Development

Nate has more than 18 years of medical device product development experience, with diverse roles in R&D engineering, manufacturing engineering, program management, and technical leadership. He has extensive background in a breadth of complex technologies, including minimally invasive and robotic laparoscopy, endoscopy, interventional cardiology and radiology, surgical stapling, vessel sealing, and RF ablation. He is a named inventor on more than 25 U.S. patents and holds a B.A. in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College and a M.S in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, Design Division and Biomechanics Division. Over the course of his career, Nate has helped dozens of companies conceptualize, develop, and commercialize novel products and technologies.


Chad Herremans

Co-Founder and Vice-President of Quality and Operations

Chad started in manufacturing nearly 20 years ago. He’s held many roles across the industry, including operations, new product introduction, process engineering, product design and development, program management, and he’s had a long successful career in quality. Chad has an innate ability to balance customer needs with regulatory requirements leading to a pragmatic and value-driven, risk-based approach to Quality and Operations at Meddux. Chad has a complete understanding of the product life cycle from concept through commercial manufacturing and is proud to work with customers in developing custom-tailored strategies and solutions. Chad holds a B.S.in Chemical Engineering from Western Michigan University, and is certified as a quality auditor from the American Society of Quality.
